Re-launch

Hey everyone!

So it has been a while since I last updated the blog... heck it's been a while since I logged into my blog.  Nonetheless, I wanted to official say that I will be coming back to this space and revamping The Interest Root a bit.  Instead of covering every nook and cranny of my interests and hobbies (for which there are countless categories) I will be focusing on writing, and of course the occasional non writing related post.  Overall though, I've decided to stick with writing.  This will be Poetry, Short Stories, Scenes, Fan Fiction, etc.  I feel this will help the continuity of the blog and perhaps people won't get so lost from post to post.

Look out for new content each week and make sure to leave your comments!

An Author's World: Nelson Lowhim - Spotlight

Hello everyone!  We're back with another segment to my, An Author's World, series.  Today I'll be shine the spotlight on a fellow author and one of his excerpts for an E-Book titled, Run.  This excerpt features an intense depiction of setting, as well as emotions.  It gets you thinking, and it certainly builds suspense as each line passes.  What is the character running from?  Maybe he's running to something, or maybe... to someone.  Enjoy!

An Author's World: The Returned

Hello again! I've finally had time to think about what I want to release first for my Creative Writings section.  I'm thrilled to finally be able to release this section!  Writing is a passion of mine, and while I'm not the best at it, I hope I can provide some jolly good entertainment for everyone.  Anyway, after a great deal of input from my team (my wife, and our ever inquisitive dog: Diesel) I have concluded that I will be sharing the plot summary of a book I've been working on as of late.
