Hi again everyone.  I'm sorry for my recent absence from The Interest Root, I've been in the process of moving and starting a new job.  It's been hectic, but I'm ready to get back on the wagon.

An Author's World: First poetry writing

So for An Author's World this week, I wanted to delve into the poetic side of creative writing.  It's an area that a haven't touched for a long time, but for some reason as of late, I have wanted to try writing it a bit more.  I can appreciate poetry, and I applaud those that are genuine poets themselves, because it's not as easy as people might think it is.

Hello everyone!  We're back with another segment to my, An Author's World, series.  Today I'll be shine the spotlight on a fellow author and one of his excerpts for an E-Book titled, Run.  This excerpt features an intense depiction of setting, as well as emotions.  It gets you thinking, and it certainly builds suspense as each line passes.  What is the character running from?  Maybe he's running to something, or maybe... to someone.  Enjoy!

An Author's World: The Returned

Hello again! I've finally had time to think about what I want to release first for my Creative Writings section.  I'm thrilled to finally be able to release this section!  Writing is a passion of mine, and while I'm not the best at it, I hope I can provide some jolly good entertainment for everyone.  Anyway, after a great deal of input from my team (my wife, and our ever inquisitive dog: Diesel) I have concluded that I will be sharing the plot summary of a book I've been working on as of late.
